Did Jesus use apologetics (reasons/benefits of believing) with the woman at the well? Jesus said: “But whoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.” (John 4.14).
Christian apologetics are reasons to believe in God. It reminds me of a good salesman explaining the benefits of buying his product.
