Is God more interested in drawing one into a deep relationship with Him or merely throwing out Q&A answers to satisfy intellectual curiosity?

Without suffering and a crisis in their lives some dear people would never think deeply about spiritual issues. People tend to ask more ‘why’ questions when their world is rocked, when their comfort zone is  shaken or even removed. “God … Continue reading

Why doesn’t God keep Christians from committing suicide? He is supposed to supply all a Christian’s needs? (Phil 4.19)

Why doesn’t God keep every believer from committing every sin, every bad choice?  Answer: Free will. Freedom of choice is a very serious responsibility. God  chose to give us free will—not make us robots with no option to sin. Suicide … Continue reading

Did Jesus use apologetics (reasons/benefits of believing) with the woman at the well? Jesus said: “But whoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.” (John 4.14).

Part 2: Why does God place conditions on His love and entering His heaven?—“believe or perish.” Reply: Conditions in our relationships are commonplace. The new employee takes a job on the condition that he will get his salary. Susie marries Tommy expecting fully that Tommy will stop dating other girls. God’s pure love is designed to operate in a holy context. God’s conditions are to protect His purity and us. Allowing impurity and God-haters into heaven would pollute it. Schools, army posts and shepherds guard their gates. They protect wholesomeness inside by keeping out wolves and evil-doers. –after Ravi Zacharias

Why does God place preconditions on His love and entering His heaven?; “believe or perish.” Reply: We humans know the importance of avoiding toxic chemicals, polluted water, diseased foods. Evil greatly offends a holy God! Sin would pollute heaven. Heaven would become wicked like earth is. God loves people but He also loves purity and respect. -Part 1
